The goal of this directed study is to investigate and evaluate the relationship between UI designs and the efficiency and effectiveness of learning and knowledge retention in a computer-based environment.
I will investigate HCI concepts such as task and activity analysis, human information processing, recognition and perception, and how they can be applied to enhance the computer-based learning experience.
In addition, I will investigate different evaluation methods and conduct user studies to measure the impact of different UI designs in a learning environment.
